PVTRANS OIL ARRANGED VACCINATION FOR ALL CREW AND EMPLOYEES

With the outbreaks of Covid-19 Delta variant worldwide, the number of infected people reached a remarkable number everyday on all over the world – especially at the trading area of PVTrans Oil’s fleet  such as India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Bangladesh and Philippines in which our crews’ health and businesses have highly been threaten. Therefore, in order to maintain the safeness of all our crew/employees and the employment of ships during the pandemic, PVTrans Oil has identified that besides the preventive actions at work, vaccination is a compulsory and the most effective solution to deal with the situation.

Despite the supply of vaccines is extremely rare both at Viet Nam and other countries, with the hard efforts of the Company’s BOD along with support from Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PVN) and PetroVietnam Transportation Corporation (PVTrans) – until August 2021, PVTrans Oil had facilitated nearly 100% of office staffs, more than 50% of ashore  crew members to get vaccination. For seafarers on board, PVTrans Oil had actively searched for vaccine sources with the support of P&I Insurance and the local partners. As a result, we have found and arranged for half of the fleet to be vaccinated and the remaining crew members will be vaccinated within the next 2 months.

Since establishment, PVTrans Oil have always been considering human resources as the core factor of  Company’s success and development. Therefore, the Company’s BOD had and will always be responsible for the safeness and living of all its employees. With the support of PVN, PVTrans and PnI Insurance, once again the company had fulfilled its mission and ready to enter the ‘new normal’ to live/work and thrive during the pandemic Covid -19.
