PVTRANS OIL WELCOMES MODERN TANKER – PVT VENUS

Implementing the fleet development planin recent years, on December 7, 2020, Phuong Dong Viet Transportation Oil JSC (PVTrans Oil) held a ceremony of transferring the product/chemical tanker MALHARI (IMO: 9414333, MMSI 419000139) at Nha Be port, Ho Chi Minh City. The tanker was renamed as PVT VENUS.

PVT Venus was built in 2010 in Korea, total deadweight at 13,149 DWT, 129m length, 20m beam, 8m summer draft, is a IMO II chemical/oil tanker,. PVT Venus has good technical condition and specifications to meet the high standards of the maritime industry and Oil Majors.

With the goal of becoming a big shipping company in the region, PVTrans Oil’s strategy is to focus on developing a modern oil/chemical fleet from 10,000 DWT to more than 20,000 DWT. PVT Venus by far is the 3rd oil/chemical tankers purchased and operated by PVTrans Oil since the beginning of 2019.
